This native herbs of Southeast Asia comes with different names. It's known as Daun Kesom or Kesom leaf in Indonesia and Australia because it produces an aromatic essential oil called kesom oil. It's also called Vietnamese mint to be eaten together with chicken as a salad. Malaysian and Singaporeans use this specific herbs as a must in their Laksa so it's also called Laksa Leaf.
